Personal Information Processing Policy of Marine Information Technology Co., Ltd (version 1.0)


The Personal Information Processing Policy of Marine Information Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Company” or “Marine Information Technology Co., Ltd”) sets forth the following:

The company initially collects the following personal information from product orders, membership registration, and inquiry registration.

- When registering as a member: name, e-mail, address, phone number, mobile phone number
- Online inquiry registration: name, e-mail address, phone number, mobile phone number

6. Procedures and methods for destruction of personal information
In principle, personal information of users is destroyed without delay when the purpose of collection and use of personal information is achieved. The procedure and methods, set forth by the company for destruction of personal information, are as follows:

A. Destruction procedure
- The information entered by the user for membership registration is transferred to a separate database after the purpose is achieved (separate filing cabinet in the case of paper) for protection and use of the information as stipulated by internal policies and other related laws (refer to retention and period of use), and is destroyed after being stored for a certain period of time.

B. Method for destruction
- Personal information printed on paper is shredded or destroyed through incineration.
- Personal information stored in the form of electronic files will be deleted using a technical method that makes it impossible to recreate records.

7. Rights of information subjects and legal representatives, and method for the exercise
- Interested parties can inquire or modify their registered personal information at any time and request the destruction
(in writing, or by phone call or e-mail to our Privacy Manager, we will take action without delay)
- If the individuals in question request correction of errors in personal information, the personal information will not be used or provided until the correction is completed. In addition, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, we will notify the third party of the result of the correction without delay to ensure that the correction can be made.
- The Company shall provide personal information that has been canceled or deleted at the request of the individuals in question or legal representative as stipulated in “5. Period of Retention and Use of Personal Information” and processing it to ensure that it cannot be viewed or used for any other purpose.
